What the Programme Covers

Modules 1–5
Introduction to PI, lawful & ethical practice, health & safety, domestic investigations, and turning information into court-ready evidence.
Modules 6–10
Covert surveillance & counter-surveillance, witness interviewing, professionalism, critical thinking, and handling unpredictable situations.
Modules 11–16
Managing investigations, setting up your own bureau, core legal frameworks, detecting deception, legal boundaries, and miscarriage of justice investigations.
Modules 17–22
Process serving, College of Policing standards, practical tools, OSINT, and professional integration with case studies and portfolio work.

Delivery: Flexible study options (intensive or self-paced). Assessment by portfolio work plus a 50-question multiple-choice examination (85% pass mark).
